During World War II he served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific.
As a fine artist in watercolor and oil, McNall has won many awards for his art and has sold nationally.
One of McNall’s loves is to paint in Plein Air. Each week he selects a California setting and takes 20 to 30 people to that location to paint in plein air. This friendly group is known as “The Thursday Morning En Plein Aire” group.
Mr. McNall is an artist member of the California Art Club, the San Gabriel Fine Arts Association, and the Mid-Valley Art League, Catalina Art Association, Oil Painters of America and the National Watercolor Society.
